Instructions
Steps
Paint the clean Monte Mega mug piece by piece with rainbow colored acrylic paints. (If necessary, the cup can be primed with white acrylic paint beforehand.) Then let the cup dry.
TIP: If the colors are sealed with a transparent top coat, the wind chime is more weatherproof.
Make a hole in the bottom of the cup. (A small nail and a hammer or a sturdy, thick needle work particularly well for this.) Then thread a string through this hole to hang it up.
Cut the ribbons in different colors to the desired length. There should be about 8 cords. (TIP: The longer the ribbons are, the nicer they blow in the wind.) Now glue the ribbons on the open side of the mug all the way around the inside of the mug.
Hang your Monte wind chime on a branch, clothesline or lamp and make your garden or balcony a bit more colourful.
