Monte layered dessert with fresh fruits

Tiramisu is a well-loved Italian dessert classic. It consists of alternating layers of soaked ladyfingers and a mascarpone cream.

With our layered dessert à la Monte, we took this as a guide and conjured up an extraordinary taste experience that makes every dessert heart beat faster. Since, unlike the classic tiramisu, it contains no alcohol and no coffee, the whole family can snack on it.

Optionally, you can decorate your dessert with a topping of your choice. Whether fresh fruit, hazelnuts or a delicious fruit sauce - you decide what you like.

The layered dessert à la Monte guarantees happy faces at children's birthday parties, family celebrations or when sitting comfortably with friends.

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 65 g powdered sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 4 sheets of gelatin
  • 300 g mascapone
  • 200 g Monte
  • 200 g ladyfingers
  • 400 ml Monte Drink
  • 10 g of cocoa powder

  • Dough scraper
  • hand mixer
  • 3 bowls
  • Pot for water bath
  • Form for the layered dessert

Preparation

Step 1

Put the gelatine leaves in cold water. Cream the egg yolk and powdered sugar over a water bath with a whisk until the mixture begins to thicken.

Step 2

Then take the gelatine leaves out of the water, squeeze them out and stir them into the warm egg mixture until the gelatine has dissolved. It is best to carefully crush the mascapone beforehand and then carefully fold it into the egg mixture with the Monte.

Step 3

Beat the egg whites and carefully fold in.

Step 4

For the ladyfingers drink, mix the Monte Drinks with the cocoa powder and soak the ladyfingers in it.

Step 5

Now either layer the ladyfingers and the cream in a casserole dish, or break the soaked ladyfingers into small pieces and layer them in large dessert glasses to get a great Monte layered dessert for spooning.

Finally, sprinkle the cooled layered dessert with cocoa powder and enjoy.
