Upcycling DIY: The Monte shell game for tricky and fun family moments
It is believed that the shell game was already played in ancient times. It was used by people for entertainment back then. Even today, the shell game is an integral part of every child's room. The unique Monte shell game is ready to use in just a few simple steps.
Collect Monte cups and experience fun puzzle moments!
You need for the shell game:
- 3 identical Monte cups (e.g. Monte Maxi 100g or Monte 6x55g)
- 1 hazelnut

Step 1
Turn the washed cups upside down and place the hazelnut under a cup so that all players can see it. (If you don't have a hazelnut, you can use any other small item.)
Step 2
Then move the cups back and forth. (The hazelnut always remains under the same cup during this time.) Aim: Shuffle the cups so quickly that the other players do not notice which cup the nut is under.
Step 3
After the cups have been shuffled, the other players should guess under which cup the nut is.
Step 4
Tip: To increase the level of difficulty, more than 3 cups can be used.
